The UWC National Committee – Malaysia regrets to advise applicants that there are NO FULL SCHOLARSHIPS available for the UWC 2010 intake. Only a limited number of FULL FEE PAYING PLACES and PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS are on offer this year. PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS only cover part of the tuition and food & lodging during the school term. Excluded are airfares, out of term living expenses, insurances, visa costs, etc.

As an indication, the successful applicant on a PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP will have to top up RM60,000 – RM130,000 for the two years at a UWC (to cover the tuition and food & lodging during the school term), depending on the UWC they are selected for. Airfares, out of term living expenses, insurances, visa costs, etc. are to be borne by the successful applicant. The costs indicated are dependent on the prevailing foreign exchange rates at the time of payment.

As a further indication, the FULL FEE PAYING PLACE will cost the successful applicant RM75,000 – RM260,000 for the two years at a UWC (to cover the tuition and food & lodging during the school term), depending on the UWC they are selected for. Airfares, out of term living expenses, insurances, visa costs, etc. are to be borne by the successful applicant. The costs indicated are dependent on the prevailing foreign exchange rates at the time of payment.

As the demand for UWC places is high, we have to process a high volume of applications. It is greatly appreciated that potential applicants understand, take into account the abovementioned financial undertaking and be able to meet them before submitting a bona fide application.
